Altar Within

Welcome,

I’m honored to introduce Altar—a creation many years in the making, now ready to be birthed into the world.

Altars are sacred spaces, woven into human history across cultures for thousands of years.

Long ago, they appeared in caves and wild places, where artifacts like bones, shells, feathers, flowers, and pigments were placed with intention - offerings to ancestors, the departed, the elements, animals, and the unseen.

Before organized religion took shape, humans built altars as portals of connection between the visible and invisible realms, ancient expressions of our instinct to commune with forces greater than ourselves.

When states and organized religions took shape, altars were formalized. They became central in temples, churches, and ritual complexes. Today, altars remain everywhere, both religious and non-religious, as a way to continue the ancient human instinct to mark a place for the sacred.

An Altar symbolizes human longing and connection. Whether built of stone on a mountaintop, painted in a cave, arranged in a living room, or carried in the heart, altars show that across time and cultures, humans have always needed a way to pause, find meaning, and acknowledge the mystery of existence.

My view is that our lives are a living Altar, our thoughts, our words, our actions, and our relationship with the mystery, the Altar that we carry within our hearts. The things that we hold most sacred to us.

My creation of Altar is an acknowledgment of the mystery that guides me and the ancestors who walked before me. Spirit has been whispering for a long time, calling me to step forward in service, to help others lay their burdens upon the Altars of their lives. To release, to let go, and to surrender to the holy longing that life continually beckons us toward.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience here on Earth. Creator knew this path would not be easy, and so gifted us the plants, the herbs, the elements, and our beloved animal kin as medicines for the soul. Creator loved us that much.

It is my soul's calling to serve those who feel drawn to this work, whether through the ancient art of limpias or through transpersonal coaching, gently woven with alchemy and medicine ways.

I am grateful you are here, walking this journey with me. I wish you beauty, love, vibrant health, joy, and the freedom to soar like the Eagle, close to Creator, high and unbound in the open sky.

Aho’ ~ Ometeotl ~ Amen +🌹+
